Dear Factory,
The Hamlet Project was unforgettable and the clearest and most creative, unmusty hamlet I have yet seen. At the time I was also a student of Yolanda's and had spoken a little bit with her about the actual rehearsal process.

I have a proposition for you,

I have been involved for almost a decade now in a Boston based shakespeare training company the Rebel Shakespeare Company which has received much acclaim and draws students from all over the country and around the world. I have been asked to be the Head of the Teen Intensive (basically pre-drama school foundation with students who already have an extensive knowledge of shakespeare for their age) which consists of about 5 weeks of training and rehearsal culminating in performance of Romeo and Juliet. This year however, I am told that we will have 6 (usually only about 2) performanes in 6 different places all around Salem Massachusetts. I thought to myself...THE HAMLET PROJECT.

I was inspired by the emphasis on the text and using it to connect with others, as well as the set up which couldn't be more spontaneous, while also leaving no actor wanting lines in having them learn several parts.

Would you be willing to collaborate with me on this? Would bring awareness of The Factory and its rather groundbreaking discoveries to the U.S.--

If this is something you'de like to talk about--the things i am most interested is in is how your rehearsal process worked--especially in regards to preparing for the use of props, and with the actors different roles.

Let me know!

All the best,
Alexander Harvey

i dont know how to say this without exaggerating lyrically, but this project is like a dream come true although im nowhere near a part of it.
just starting out in my own life i was wondering if theres any chance of getting involved - i have done acting and love performance but am not a trained actress. i am studying photography and all sorts of visual arts. is there a chance of getting involved somehow?
